<title>Trendrr launches real-time curation product, gets certified by Twitter</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://lostremote.com/files/2013/05/curatorr2.jpg"><img src="http://lostremote.com/files/2013/05/curatorr2.jpg" alt="" title="curatorr2" width="304" height="200" class="alignright size-full wp-image-37770" /></a>Trendrr has rolled out a new product called <a href="http://www.curatorr.com">Curatorr</a> that enables its clients to roll out real-time Twitter experiences on TV, mobile apps and other digital screens.  Curatorr also joins Twitter&#8217;s &#8220;certified products&#8221; <a href="https://dev.twitter.com/programs/twitter-certified-products/products#Certified-Products">list</a>, which includes services like Mass Relevance, Crimson Hexagon and Radian6.  In fact, Curatorr is positioned to compete with Mass Relevance, which has been growing leaps and bounds as media companies and brands alike expand their real-time products.</p>

<title>Super Bowl smashes social TV records</title>

The Super Bowl tallied up 30.6M social media comments (Twitter, public Facebook data and GetGlue checkins), 2.5 times last year&#8217;s social activity of 12.2 million.</p>

For Nielsen, this has been a remarkable story of catching up quickly in the social TV space, <a href="http://lostremote.com/what-nielsens-acquisition-of-socialguide-means-for-social-tv_b35040">acquiring SocialGuide</a> and partnering with Twitter in just over a month&#8217;s time.  For Twitter, it&#8217;s an effort to further illustrate its value for &#8220;broadcasters and advertisers [to] create truly social TV experiences,&#8221; explains Twitter VP Chloe Sladden.  The more TV participates on Twitter, the better Twitter becomes.</p>

<title>What Nielsen&#8217;s acquisition of SocialGuide means for the social TV industry</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://lostremote.com/files/2012/11/sgdata1.png"><img src="http://lostremote.com/files/2012/11/sgdata1.png" alt="" title="sgdata" width="232" height="149" class="alignright size-full wp-image-35046" /></a>Earlier today, Nielsen and NM Incite <a href="https://lostremote.com/nielsen-acquires-social-tv-tracker-socialguide_b35024">announced they acquired</a> the social TV data company <a href="http://www.socialguide.com">SocialGuide</a> for an undisclosed sum.  While it&#8217;s big industry news, it&#8217;s <a href="http://lostremote.com/1-predictions-for-social-tv-in-2012_b24557">not entirely unexpected</a>: Nielsen has been ramping up its investment in social data while startups like Bluefin Labs, Trendrr, Networked Insights and SocialGuide have been hard at work creating and trying to standardize a new social dimension of TV ratings.</p>

<title>Trendrr secures patent for data processing methods</title>
<description><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://lostremote.com/tag/trendrr" target="_blank"><img class="alignright" src="http://www.lostremote.com/files/2012/06/trendrrlogo1.jpg" alt="" width="250" height="121" />Trendrr</a> has made a big announcement today, one that is sure to help their services grow in the long term.
