NBC Crime Dramas Promoting Crossover Event on Social

SVU Chicago PDNBC crime dramas “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Chicago P.D.” are partnering for a two-hour crossover event airing Wednesday, February 26 at 9pmET.

“A case so big, it needs two teams to solve it,” the teaser for the episode says, with the New York-based “SVU” crew heading to Chicago to enlist the help of the “Chicago P.D” crew.

And both shows are also active on social, tweeting out promo announcements for the crossover event—and retweeting each others tweets—while SVU’s social channels are spreading some behind-the-scenes photos from the episode’s filming. Read more

Dunkin’ Donuts Hanging Out With ‘Top Chef’

Dunkin ChefDunkin’ Donuts continues its social media frenzy with a Google+ Hangout tomorrow night during Bravo’s “Top Chef.”

Dunkin has 63,000 followers on Google+ Hangout and executive chef Stan Frankenthaler will host its first ever Hangout at 9:30pmET, a half-hour ahead of “Top Chef” at 10pmET.

The Hangout is part of the #DDTopChef initiative and will pit six contestants facing off in a live cooking competition. The winner earns a $1,000 prize.
