HISTORY continues #ThankAVet campaign in honor of Veteran’s Day
Updated: Due to the amount of support History has seen from fans, they’ve just upped their donation to $20k – nice work. HISTORY is continuing their social TV campaign for social good in honor of Veteran’s Day. They will be “donating $1 to America’s VetDogs (up to $10,000) for every #thankavet tweet sent in honor of Veterans Day.” For those who don’t know America’s VetDogs is a non-profit organization that serves the needs of disabled veterans and active duty personnel by providing guide dogs and training. You can click here to tweet your own #thankavet tweet.
You can read the latest tweets and watch the campaign here. Once again, it’s great to see History leveraging social TV for a great cause. We hope to see them reach their $10k goal soon.
