Shwirtz gave us inside looks into the social TV world of Viacom and is now onto his next big role as Endemol Beyond USA’s Chief Social Media Officer.

Shwirtz couldn’t be a better fit for this position as someone who spent his career at Viacom, connecting the dots between the organizations many TV brands. Building social TV into the production side of the TV equation is a topic we’ve continued to write about as a key to storytelling in the age of social.

Shwirtz, “will create and implement forward-looking strategies that maximize the potential of social media as a global storytelling platform, using new methods and genres of content creation for distribution and monetization to capitalize on the ever-changing landscape of the digital revolution,” according to the release. We’re excited to watch what he cooks up.
