Nielsen has just released a plethora of top 10 lists for the most popular TV shows, movies, DVDs, albums, books, websites and advertisers of 2006. One of the new categories is the most popular time-shifted TV programs of the year, in order: Studio 60, Heroes, Gilmore Girls, America’s Next Top Model, 30 Rock, Friday Night Lights, The Nine, Supernatural, Kidnapped, One Tree Hill and Smallville. (Hmmm, I don’t see The Office in there, which has been listed by Nielsen in previous statistics as one of the top time-shifted shows, so go figure.) Lots, lots more below…
