‘Occupy Conan’ scheduled for January 31

TBS will air the special crowd-sourced episode of “Conan” called “Occupy Conan” on January 31st, and will also feature have Conan O’Brien blogging live during the episode. We recently wrote about the plan, which involves inviting fans to submit their own takes on classic “Conan” bits, with prizes for fans that submit the best videos.

Volkswagen is sponsoring the episode, and the best clip, as selected by Conan’s production team, will win a 2013 Volkswagen Beetle. Conan will be blogging during the show via the program’s Team Coco app for tablets.

TBS also released a new preview, with brief glimpses of some of the standout submissions.
