‘Orange Is the New Black’ Star Dubs Conan O’Brien ‘Very First Transgender Talk Show Host’

Last night, Conan O’Brien got a new hairdresser, and credit, courtesy of Netflix.

“The very first transgender talk show host,” Laverne Cox, who plays transgender inmate Sophia on “Orange Is the New Black,” told Conan during a skit. “I’m not transgender,” O’Brien responded. “But your voice is higher than mine…you’re telling me your not transitioning?”

“No, this is my real voice, O’Brien said angrily. “I’m a man.” The skit preceded O’Brien interviewing several of the show’s main characters.
