Netflix’s “House of Cards” made TV history, simply by being referred to as a TV show. The Kevin Spacey political drama has catapulted binge-watching from a TV junkie’s obsession to a major form of normal TV consuming. Traditional TV critics were forced to cover this show differently. The Six Stages of “House of Cards” Grief replaced the weekly episodic review. After all the hoopla around the midnight, entire season launch, was House of Cards actually a success? Netflix says yes, but isn’t revealing the numbers. Social TV highlights from the 64th Annual Primetime Emmys

Updated: Hill Holliday has correlated Bluefin's data with the linear ratings and determined that "While there is a ratings peak at the time of the stunt, it's very similar to the other peaks throughout the Emmys airing" and that the stunt "possibly"could have helped increase viewership. Another Emmys have come and gone, which means that the fall TV season is about to kick into high gear. Last nights awards felt a bit like the Modern Family Awards Show, although Jimmy Kimmel's hosting was exceptional. Homeland also did extremely well and Hatfields & McCoys brought home a few well deserved honors. Louis C.K. was also a big winner bringing home two Emmys. Breaking Bad's cast and AMC use social media with fans

AMC's Breaking Bad will premiere it's fifth and final season tonight at 10 p.m. The drama that might be best described as a high school chemistry teacher meets Scarface has received critical acclaim each season, earning star Bryan Cranston three Emmys and costar Aaron Paul one. We attended the movie-style premiere red-carpet last night in San Diego and spoke to the cast about social media and interviewed AMC's SVP of Digital Media and Content Mac McKean.
