On Thursday, we guessed that the 2014 NHL Winter Classic would be the highest rated, most social (and snowiest) regular season game in NHL History. For anyone who watched the game, the “snowiest” prediction quickly became apparent. On Friday, NBC announced the ratings and we certainly were close: The 2.5 rating ties the 2008 NHL Winter Classic, which was played at Wrigley Field, for the most-watched regular season game title.
