Results for Our ‘Sound of Music Live!’ Live-Tweet with a Real von Trapp Are In…

Sound LiveNBC is singing a happy tune this morning with big ratings for its live “Sound of Music”
presentation last night. The three hour event averaged 18.47 million viewers with a 4.3 rating in the adults 18-34 demo. NBC doubled CBS in viewers for the night and more than doubled its closest competitor in the demo, ABC which averaged a 1.8.

If you didn’t catch us last night on Twitter, we were live-tweeting NBC’s “Sound of Music Live!” with a real von Trapp: Myles von Trapp Derbyshire.

Myles is the 28-year-old great-grandson of Maria von Trapp, who was the matriarch of the family played by Oscar-winner Julie Andrews in the 1965 classic.

But tonight Lost Remote has just that, as we live-tweet NBC’s “Sound of Music Live!” with a real von Trapp.
