NAB: KIT Digital launches white label social program guide

KIT Digital, a publicly-traded company that provides video management software and services, is launching a new Social Program Guide at NAB today with the hopes of attracting cable providers to update their outdated software. "This is a white label product that lays social functionality on top of a pay-TV provider's EPG so that viewers can see what their friends are up to and then act on that information... by actually changing the channel or hitting 'Record,'" KIT Digital's Global Lead Analyst Alan Wolk told Lost Remote.
