Tomorrow marks the first ever United Nations ‘World Day Against Human Trafficking,’ and USA Network is teaming up with the UN to spread the message. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is focusing the campaign around giving hope back to the millions of victims worldwide of human trafficking. The UNODC, along with USA Network, is asking people to take a photo of themselves forming a hand heart - the internationally recognized gesture of love, care and friendship – and then share it across social media with the hashtag #IGiveHope.
While USA Network as a whole is getting involved, ‘Graceland’ particularly is leading the charge. The show has incorporated human trafficking storylines in seven episodes this season, and actors Daniel Sunjata and Serinda Swan have filmed special messages to raise awareness. Read more
