The NBA and Viggle launch second screen partnership for the 2013 NBA Playoffs

Viggle , the second-screen platform that rewards its members for watching their favorite TV shows,  has partnered with the NBA to provide rewards and discounts to fans watching the 2013 NBA Playoffs and The Finals. In January, Viggle announced a similar partnership with the NFL for its MyGuy app, its real-time fantasy sports app.

Beginning with Game 7 of the Nets vs. Bulls  series this weekend, Viggle members who check in while watching certain NBA games throughout the remainder of the postseason will accumulate Viggle bonus points and have the chance to win discounts at NBAStore.com. Fans can check into their Viggle app each day to find the featured game, which will only be revealed the day of.

“Viggle is taking the NBA playoffs to a whole new level,” said Greg Consiglio, Viggle President and COO.  “NBA fans will be rewarded for checking in with Viggle and watching the games and can earn points redeemable in our rewards catalog or discounts on official NBA gear.”

Throughout the playoffs fans can further engage via Viggle’s social campaign, which will give them even more opportunity to win additional Viggle bonus points by simply sharing their favorite team.
