5by_mobile_app_screenshot_304x200In this Friday’s installment of our partnership with 5by, the video discovery platform that curates the web’s best viral videos, we take a look at the top five videos of the week from the platform’s TV category.

Trending this week is a trailer for ‘Bojack Horseman,’ a new Netflix series, and The Roots reacting to the 50 Shades of Grey trailer. For more on the videos selected, Theo Tabah, 5by’s Head of Content:

This past week was one of surprises in the world of social TV – with unexpected trailers, new series and shock-worthy late night skits.
First, Netflix released a trailer for their new show ‘Bojack Horseman.’ It doesn’t have the same real-life drama-filled appeal as hits like ‘House of Cards’ or ‘Orange is the New Black’ but, but surprisingly enough, we’ve seen some advocacy for it on social media. Then the infamous ear-biting boxer Mike Tyson surprised Comic-Con with the reveal of his new ‘Scooby-Doo-esque’ cartoon series which looks…interesting, but worth watching nonetheless.
As usual, Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers both hosted some high shock-value videos that are both entertaining and hilarious. Finally, our late night favorite John Oliver shares some disturbing facts about nuclear weapons in America and how sincerely suspect that top-secret facet of the American government is. All of which has gotten the masses buzzing on their social channels.
