Screenshot_5_28_14__11_08_AMThis week the social TV analytics company Seevibes released an infographic highlighting social TV trends in Canada for the month of May. The Montreal-based Seevibes just announced a $1 million seed round led by Polytech Ventures.

Seevibes assigns TV shows a properietary “Seevibes Score,” which is comprised of six metrics: market share, social impressions, loyalty levels, engagement rate, frequency, level of response.

Here are the key takeaways from Seevibes’ May report, followed by the infographic:

- All season finales generated huge amounts of buzz, with ‘Once Upon a Time’ generating nearly 110,000 social interactions.
- As usual, an awards show topped the charts, with the Billboard Music Awards generating 277,301 social interactions.
- Beauty and the Beast received the highest Seevibes Score. While the show did not receive the highest volume of social interactions, it did generate true engagement and commitment from its viewers based on the six metrics that make up the Seevibes Score.
