USA Network announces TV Everywhere as streamed TV becomes the norm

USA Network isn’t only unifying their screens but they’re widening the platforms in which you can watch they’re linear programs. Today, the network announced the launch of TV Everywhere, which will be available on their website and via a new app called “USA Now.” Here are the details.

Here are the details from their release:

USA Network announced today the launch of TV Everywhere, giving fans unprecedented access to its original content the day after air – anywhere, anytime, on any device.  USA is the first cable entertainment network within NBCUniversal to provide this offering, which marks an important step in the company’s long-term strategy to provide both viewers and marketers a user friendly way to engage with its content on multiple platforms. USA fans will be able to access their favorite original series via www.usanetwork.com and a new app, “USA Now,” which derives its name from the Bravo Now app. Launching today for iOS, “USA Now” will be available in an Android version in mid-July.

The Everywhere content will be available via authentication and the app was built by  Bottle Rocket Apps, which has also powered WWE platforms. As TV Everywhere grows, one wonders if soon the TV is what we’re going to be authenticating into.
