Conan O’Brien has caused quite a stir in social TV circles lately, recently declaring himself the “new Malcolm Gladwell in town” of LinkedIn,” but YouTube users turned the tables on him from his audience last night.
Teeing off a segment about YouTube doing away with anonymous comments, O’Brien was met with an array of live YouTube audience comments.
“LOL, LOL, LOL,” the first audience member said.
“Please don’t interrupt, OK?”, O’Brien shot back.
An outburst from a female commenter then came: “The real joke here is Obamcare, and anybody disagrees with me is just a mindless sheep whose been brainwashed by the liberal media.”
“Shut up you Fox News loving fascist, why don’t you go back to Nazi Germany…this sentence is still in all caps with no punctuation!” another commenter added.
For perspective, O’Brien concluded: “That sketch was a comment on where we are as a society—and if we’re not careful—where we’re headed.”
